NRM & Climate Change
At Planet Nurture Foundation, we understand that the future of our communities depends on how we manage natural resources today. Our Natural Resource Management (NRM) initiatives focus on preserving soil, water, and biodiversity—key assets for sustainable rural development.
With growing climate uncertainty, traditional farming systems and ecosystems are under pressure. Through programs like rainwater harvesting, watershed development, and soil health improvement, we help farmers and villages become more climate-resilient. These practices not only conserve natural resources but also improve agricultural productivity and community well-being.
We also promote climate-smart agriculture, organic farming, and afforestation to reduce environmental degradation. In collaboration with local stakeholders, our training sessions empower farmers and youth with knowledge on sustainable land use, climate risk management, and low-input techniques.
At Planet Nurture Foundation, we believe that addressing climate change begins at the grassroots. Our work in NRM bridges tradition with innovation—ensuring that local ecosystems thrive while livelihoods remain secure. Together, we can build a future where people live in harmony with nature and climate resilience becomes a way of life.
